Featuring Max Wiethe and Michael Kao

May 18 at 11:00AM • 65 minutes

Michael Kao, CEO of Akanthos Capital Management, returns to update viewers on his outlook for inflation. In his recent interview on Real Vision (https://rvtv.io/3htxohZ), Kao outlined two potential feedback loops that could be caused by inflation, one reflexively sending prices higher and the other doing the opposite. Kao will explain the feedback loop he has settled on and why as well as its consequences for asset prices. He will also discuss why he is not worried about hyperinflation in the U.S. and the distinct differences between the inflationary factors in the U.S. and countries that experience hyperinflation, and he will touch on his analysis of the risk for firms like MicroStrategy, which have taken on debt to buy bitcoin.
